The Legend of Rawhide is an annual celebration of the history, legend, and Western heritage of Niobrara County.
The Legend of Rawhide is a community performance in the truest sense of the word. Each year residents of Niobrara County
and surrounding communities volunteer their time, energy, and determination in service of the Legend of Rawhide pageant.
The Legend of Rawhide is not only what you see in the performances, but rather numerous people behind the scenes. The
Legend of Rawhide with cast and crew have over 400 contributing volunteers making this production possible annually. Without
their support and love for the Legend of Rawhide and the aspect of our heritage it represents this production would not be
possible.
We hope that after having explored this website you will be as excited about the Legend of Rawhide as we are! We look forward to
seeing you and your family at this year's performance of the Legend of Rawhide. It is your interest and attendance that keeps the
Legend alive.
